Slow Down and Take a Walk

"all the people there getting in their cars, underneath the stars, driving in their cars tonight. And everybody's leaving, a million brakes are screeching,no one knows where they're going to. And I just want to to fall in love, take a walk and fall in love." So as I am doing some major studying today, I was realizing that I don't really stop and realize all of the little things. I've been told by many people that I am often pessimistic. Believe me, I am trying to not look at all the negatives but positives as well. It's not as easy as it seems. But I am willing to try! :) Now, as promised, I will write a funny story about my life. (I keep my promises) So when we lived in Spain, we would visit places all around. Places in France, Italy, etc. I was told this story and I don't remember it all that well. So if the details are off and my dad reads this, sorry daddy. I do know that my mom was driving us to France and my dad had kind of dozed off while she w...

Strong on the surface, not all the way thru.

After my dreaming, i woke with this fear. what am i leaving when i'm done here? So if you're asking me, I want you to know. When my times comes forget the wrong that i've done. Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed. Don't resent me when you're feeling empty. Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest. ^^Linkin Park So I promised that I would share funny stories about my life. But before I can, I should explain a few important details. First of all, I traveled around so much because I was a Missionary Kid. My parents were missionaries, going around translating the Bible into different languages. Languages are one of my dad's special talents. So we moved almost ever 4 years until I was around 12. I was born in Colombia , South America. I have 2 siblings. Allen, who is almost 18, was born in Spain . My sister Kari, who is now 13, was born in Pakistan. My parents would joke that instead of collecting souveniers in countries, they collected kids. :) My...
i've learned the hard way that things do not always turn out the way you want them to. people tell me to be more optimistic. but the more i think "yay my life is finally going the right way!" something else comes and bits me in the butt. for example, i was just getting excited that i may be able to afford my own apartment. and then they turned me down because i do not make enough money. and another example, just yesterday i had a mental breakdown. i was upset about the apartment thing, school going bad, i'm behind on some rent but they wont tell me how much, and im gaining weight, and my computer charger has a short in it so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So anyway, the point of that is that life isn't always fair to me. in fact, it sometimes is so unreasonable that i end up like i did last night. mental breakdown: could not get off the floor i was crying so hard. my sides still hurt from that. Thank goodness my boyfriend came and took me out to ...

just take a look thru my eyes

"There are things in life you'll learn and oh in time you'll see. cause out there somewhere it's all waiting if you keep believing. so dont run, dont hide, it will be alright. you'll see, trust me. i'll be there watching over you. Take a look through my eyes. There's a better place somewhere out there. Just take a look thru my eyes. Everything changes, you'll be amazed what you'll find. If you look thru my eyes. " No I don't take credit for that song. That's a part of the song "Take a Look thru my eyes" by Phil Collins. He inspired the title of my blog and what i want whoever is reading this to see. I want you to take a look thru my eyes and see how i see the world. It's not always amazing but i have funny stories that i'd love for you to know. So just give me a chance. I promise it wont be completely boring. -Aimee
